In Core Magazine's interview with Minoru Arakawa, more details on the Dolphin were released. Minoru Arakawa stated that information in regards to Dolphin will be made available at the Space Show on August 25th. Here is a quote from Core Magazine's interview. | | Perfect Dark sequel for Dolphin
While still enjoying the enormous success of their N64 title Perfect Dark, Rare is already hard at work on the follow up. This next installment of the Dark saga will be on none other than the upcoming Nintendo Dolphin console, and will be titled "After Dark." Not much is known about the game at this point, but it is obvious that it will be competing against Electronic Arts' TWINE game for the Playstation 2 and consequently there are very high expectations.
| Miyamoto to ride Dolphin like a Yamaha?
Shigeru Miyamoto, the man who started it all for Nintendo, is working on a completely different gaming genre. Miyamoto says in Nintendo Power "I've been working on games for the launch of Dolphin. One title is really a new genre of game - what we're calling a 'communication' game."
Miyamoto says he hopes to have the game done by the end of Summer and he also stated that Nintendo is coming up with new franchise characters. Does that mean Nintendo may be dumping Mario for someone new to lead Nintendo into the next millenium? Stay tuned here to find out more in the next few weeks.
